Performing daredevil stunt scenes has never bothered Anushka. The actress has done some daring sequences in some of her previous films, including Arundhati. So, when the actress was required to shoot for some fight scenes in Selvaraghavan’s Irandam Ulagam, we hear she was pretty excited.
It’s known that Anushka trained in sword fighting before she started filming for the movie. A stunt person from Hyderabad, who is an expert sword wielder, took basic classes for the actress. Even before she gave her takes, Anushka rehearsed for every scene meticulously. By the time the sequences were filmed in Georgia, she had almost become an expert in the art. So much so that the locals, both the public who had witnessed the shoot and the crew members, were pretty impressed with her.
We hear that Anushka not only fights the ‘villains’, but also Arya in the film. “There’s an interesting fight sequence between the two of them,” reveals the source. The film, which is set to hit screens this Deepavali, will release in seven languages, including Georgian, Russian, Uzbek, and Turkish.
Interestingly, Anushka also learnt horse riding and traditional martial art forms for period films, Baahubali and Rudhramadevi.
